The Tales Of Mikey Wiseman

Confutatis, confutatis... Sometimes there are things in life it's just impossible to understand. You try as you may, try as you might, and yet....hmmm. Maybe those things just aren't meant to be understood. Or is it one of those things where one just gets tired of trying and gives up? For example: Why do we know more about space than we do about what lies beneath the oceans? Or better yet, why do we allow the price of gas to keep getting higher and higher? HaHa, yeah that's one that could keep your mind spinning for days on end! Here's a piece I wrote that I find fitting for todays thoughts:

Often times I wonder,
Why?
Why is there why?
What does why really explain?
Could it be a city?
Could it be a person?
Or is it all to blame on reason?
WHY.
So many different ponderings
On a simple little provocation.
It opens new doors,
It explores new realms;
Some never even thought of before!
WHY!
Such a foul little three letter word,
Often times more questions ensue.
Does it ever really lead to answers?
Does it ever help to explain anything?
why...
Some things are never meant to be pondered.

In closing thoughts, it's funny to me, sometimes there are so many why's around, it leaves one to wonder more about things than it seems are humanly possible. Ah, life...
