Yesterday, I had the opportunity to be with a whole crew of certain someones...numbering three. Sure, our age ranges vary, but you know, I gotta admit, that didn't matter. Talking to one, we really got into MLA style of writing, as well as hard papers, and you know, educators should really re-construct their grading system to put more weight on papers and or tests that come at the end of a class instead of in the beginning or the middle. I mean seriously, if you knew all to be all from the get go, why even bother taking the class, right?
Anyways, I also had time with someone a bit younger. We talked of cars, and things important to him (he seriously is like a small adult at times), but you know, he and I had some major fun by passing a balloon like volleyball. And I saw that certain someone dance.....
First time in a long time my concentration was split eight ways to Sunday, but what a feeling!!! Talking to one (MLA and other conversations), playing balloon ball, and watching that special someone dance as if no one was around....
FAMILY. True love and FAMILY. This feeling is brand new to me, and beyond amazing.....I mean, to my peeps C Comeaux, P Plentl.... I finally am beginning to understand. Mad respects to you both and your families. I hope that one day I can brag like you do.
The best part of it all was that I got to see that certain someone special be a mom. And she was more than beautiful... AUGH! To see her in that role, to see her be 'Mommy'... That is why she is my certain someone!
Wonderment and excitement abound.
This is the beginning of something amazing - I can feel it!!!
